Miami Mom Collective brings back its 7th annual Hanging With Heroes on Saturday, October 17, at Key Point Academy Downtown with UHealth Jackson Children's Care as presenting partner. From 11 in the morning to 2 in the afternoon, families walk in dressed as their favorite superhero and meet superheroes in person at 1501 Biscayne Boulevard in Miami.

What the morning includes

The event is built for the youngest fans: a meet-and-greet with costumed heroes, photo opportunities, a ball pit, arts and crafts tables, face painting, balloon twisting and a do-it-yourself cape station where every child can create their own. Recent editions have been free and open, and the format stays the same: drop in, make a cape, take a photo, and leave with a full morning.

A family-friendly anchor for an October weekend

With hospitals and pediatric care teams behind the day, families also get a chance to meet the people who care for kids in the community and to spend an unhurried Saturday together. The venue sits on the edge of downtown Miami, close to Metromover stops with parking nearby for families coming from the south. For little ones who believe in heroes, it is a morning worth the drive.
