Camelot Days Medieval Festival fills TY Park in Hollywood on three weekends, November 7 and 8, November 14 and 15, and November 21 and 22, running from 10 in the morning to 5:30 in the afternoon. The festival turns the park into a medieval village with jousting, knights, artisan vendors, food and hands-on activities for children. Admission is ticketed, with one-day passes and season passes available, and the park is at 3300 North Park Road.

A weekend out of time

Walking through the festival feels like stepping into another century: banners, armor, music and working artisans fill the grounds. Children get to meet knights and try medieval crafts, while adults browse the vendors and watch the jousting. The three-weekend run means there is room to visit more than once, and each day offers the full village experience from morning to late afternoon.

Hollywood's family calendar

TY Park is one of Broward's largest parks, and the festivals it hosts speak to a community that plans for families. When you are comparing where to live, a park that fills its weekends with events like this is a good sign for everyday life. The practical questions about Hollywood, the commute, the schools and what a home buys you, answer themselves more easily after a day at the festival.
