Vizcaya Village turns its historic grounds into a Halloween Harvest Farmers Market on Sunday, October 25, from 9:30 in the morning to 3:30 in the afternoon at 3250 South Miami Avenue. Admission is free, and the day brings together more than 30 farmers, artisans and food vendors under the village's Mediterranean arches.

A market morning with hands-on craft for kids

Beyond the stalls, the day includes drop-in craft programs for families. From 11 to 1, the Corn Husk Creations activity lets little ones build simple figures from dried corn husks, and from 1 to 2, the Mi Masa Es Tu Masa workshop explores heirloom corn and traditional masa making. It is the kind of morning that works for every age, from toddlers watching the craft tables to parents shopping the produce.

Arrival notes

Because of restoration work, the gate on Southwest 32nd Road is closed; families enter through the parking lot off South Miami Avenue. Arriving early makes the morning more relaxed and gives the craft tables first pick. The market is a gentle, low-key way to spend a late-October Sunday without leaving the city.
