The Small Business Marketplace returns to the Miramar Cultural Center on Sunday, November 22, from noon at 2400 Civic Center Place. The free market brings local small business owners and entrepreneurs together for an afternoon of shopping, with a diverse selection of local brands offering items not usually found in stores and specialists offering their services. Organized by Collaborative Events, it is a place to discover the people who make the local economy run.

Shopping with the people who make it

A market like this is a reminder that behind every booth is a neighbor: a baker, an artisan, a designer, a small service provider. For families, it is a way to shop with intention and to support businesses that live in the same county. Because the items are handmade or small-batch, a morning here tends to become a conversation as much as a purchase.

A free afternoon with something for everyone

The cultural center sits at the corner of Miramar Parkway and Red Road, an easy stop from Pembroke Pines, Hollywood and Southwest Ranches. Free to enter, the market works as a relaxed weekend errand, an outing with children, or a way to meet the people behind local storefronts. Arrive at noon to see the full selection before the afternoon crowds gather.
