Fruit and Spice Park hosts Adventure Day on Saturday, September 12, from 10 in the morning to 5 in the afternoon at 24801 SW 187th Avenue in Homestead, in the heart of the Redlands farm belt. The day plans the fall harvest around children: craft tables, photo backdrops, a scavenger hunt across the gardens, and guided tours that show which fruit is in season right now.

The plan inside the garden

The day mixes the park's usual walkways with extra attractions: the craft tables keep the smallest hands busy, the photo spots frame the family picture under the palm and mango trees, and the food trucks close the loop between the tours. The scavenger hunt is the favorite of the explorers, and the garden's guided visits teach the harvest calendar of the Redlands in a single afternoon.

Admission and a quiet plan

Admission is $5 for adults 12 and older, $3 for children 11 and under, and free for children under 5 and for the park's members. The garden is a green pause on the drive toward Homestead, and a comfortable way for the whole family to spend a Saturday among the trees before the summer heat fully returns.
